ok, i have 2 blessings to share today.

as i was outreaching in northpoint today,
there's no northbrooks people, or even from yss.
i was complaining to God:
so this is your so called "victory" ?
i thought we are suppose to be victorious.
then after the lesson on Everyday Evangelism,
we went to plaza sing to outreach to people.
and guess what?
i managed to get 2 northbrooks contacts.
i was so stunned, like this is PS, and there's yishun people.
So God replied back to me:
So, what do you think now?
I got nothing to say .

second blessing is, actually i don't have money for camp.
i don't really want to take from my parents.
they will start their lecturing if i ask them for money.
i have been praying that God will provide me.
from the beginning, i have a strong sense that i will get edusave.
i was thinking: not bad, i did improve in some subjects.
at least getting $150 is enough.
but today, i just found my letter on the table.
it's Edusave Bursary Award, $250 .
I was like so happy!
Thank God!

i have to be single-minded,
devoted and focus on God, then blessings will just flow.

yeah, finally got my shirts!

& today, liyan, tingting, daniel, sean and me, 5 of us went to outreach at northpoint.
really, walked around the whole northpoint, including the extension.
and we gathered 5 contacts from northbrooks !
actually to me, it's really like God bless,
because last time, when we outreach, there's not even a single northbrooks.
and all the 5 of them are lower secondary students!
yeah! Thank God!!

Hectic

There's gonna be many things going on this week.
though may be tired, but i'm pretty excited.
district cg was fun!
all the runnings and everything.

and really have to finish cg08.
i'm gonna bring 3 shirts to camp.
north t-shirt + yss t-shirt - northbrooks t-shirt .
i guess i can't make up my mind to wear which.
ps: yss t-shirts are nice, but not the new one.

this song popped into my mind as i was doing my QT
and when i was looking through the chords.
it's kind of an old song,
but the lyrics really speak into my heart.

Loving God

seriously, the title has prompted my heart many times.

LOVE .
what's your defination of love?
Get hooked or obsessed in something?

let's say you like something,
you will keep talking about the thing you liked,
you don't care whether people like it or not,
you just keep on talk and talk and talk, non stop.
and when you like a particular thing,
you introduce this thing to other people,
you hope that at the end, they will like what you like too.
you get hooked on this thing until your mum have to yell you to go to bathe.
sometimes, in a bad way,
you are so hooked until you delayed to do many things
or you forget to do homeworks.
you can even sleep later just to do this particular thing you like.

shouldn't we do that for God too?

because if we love God,
we will keep talking how good God is,
we will keep desiring and look forward to meet God everyday.
we got so hooked to the bible,
we worship God everyday.
and with our lips, we share how God bless us.
and everyday we do our ministry for God.

just exactly how you like to do all the things.

And you shall love the Lord your God out of and with your whole heart and out of and with all your soul (your life) and out of and with all your mind (with your faculty of thought and your moral understanding) and out of and with all your strength. This is the first and principal commandment.

if we love God, naturally our actions will show,
if kind of normal that everything we do,
we just wanna please God.
it sounds easy, but many people did not manage to do it.
then the question is:
Who is God in your life?

Like in Romans 12 : 1-2 [The message]

So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.


in everything we do,
actually God sees it, He can be please or unhappy.
we keep on saying that we love God,
we wanna do everything to please God ....
talk without action is rubbish,
must as well you save that saliva for swallowing of food.
seriously God doesn't care what you say,
He cares what's in your heart the most.

looking at this, i think i'm a real sinner.
i don't think my life is a pleasing to God one as yet.
Still striving towards perfection.

seriously, i really wonder,
if Jesus is here, right now with me, how am i living my life?
i think i would live really better than now.
then if it's like this,
i must as well live like Jesus is here, at home, everywhere with me now.
but seriously, it can be interesting.
like we're stunned and how Jesus is going to show our past mistakes.
hurhur, can be quite scary though.
but, God still loves us (:

seriously, i'm very very very lazy to blog.
rarely i would one to get this blog being blogged.
except now.

today's teaching is about loving people.
monday, during prayermeet, God told me about loving God.
i won't blog up what God told me first.
